Hari Adhikari (Nepal)
I was born in the village called Sisneri which is 40km south part of Kathmandu. I have my bachelor’s degree in Sociology & Population studies and master’s degree in Rural Development from K and K International College, Kathmandu. Since 2003, I have started to work at international humanitarian development organizations focused on children, women and youth issues. Since 2011, I have been focusing on project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, partnership cooperation and organizational development/institutionalization. Also on children, women and elderly health care and education and crisis support program. In my leisure time I would like to give my time to social activities and to those in need.
The people I feel inspired by are my family members (biological and spiritual) and other many kind individuals (Juju sir, Bonniema, Shyam sir, Engely mam, Willy aunt and Sunil s=Sairam) who are equally inspired for service.
My life quote is “SERVICE TO HUMANITY”
On Sept 16th 2003 I had my first job at an international humanitarian organization. So Sept 16th 2003 is the most important day for me because I began my career in social work field.
It was a great pleasure to meet Chairperson of Sairam Foundation whom I met via connections from ENGELY MAM in 2012 at Bhaktapur (Nepal). When Sunil went back to Holland, a few months later he shared his project plan. I felt that the project addresses the dire need of Nepali children so I decided to support that plan. At the moment I am working full time as manager at Siddhi Memorial Foundation and voluntarily looking after Sairam Foundation Nepal Project as per the need.
